Walk With Pride At Bond Street Chelmsford

Essex Pride is an annual celebration of LGBTQ+ life in Essex and beyond. Establishing itself in 2003 as a cornerstone event, Essex Pride showcases the county’s successful approach to diversity and inclusion, and even became a factor in Chelmsford being granted City Status in 2012 by her Majesty The Queen.

We’re incredibly lucky to be the host city for Essex Pride, which is running on Saturday 24th June. This year will also see the return of the Pride March in Chelmsford, following the success of their first March in 2022.

To add to the celebrations, Chelmsford For You have commissioned a number of artists to create Pride murals on various shop windows along the March’s route. The murals are now in place now across the city, including Jonathan Harvey-Thomas‘s incredible piece in John Lewis Chelmsford.

Essex Pride is a not for profit registered charity, run on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community of Essex by a volunteer board of Trustees. All proceeds from ticketing and fundraising go towards the operational and running costs of Essex Pride. We’re proud to stand in solidarity and celebration with Essex Pride.
