FREE HALLOWEEN KIDS WORKSHOPS

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any scarier! Keep your little monsters entertained over the half-term holidays and join us at Bond Street Chelmsford for FREE kids Halloween activities from Saturday 22nd – 30th October! With a range of craft workshops and storyline sessions in partnership with John Lewis & Partners, Tiptree Tearooms and Foyles, you won’t be short of fun activations to get the whole family in the Halloween spirit. No booking required, just turn up and have fun! Please note, all workshops will operate on a first come, first serve basis.

CHELMSFORD’S MONSTER INVASION

2021 saw the River Monsters invade Chelmsford in search of their friend the Essex Serpent. These GIANT colourful monsters took to the roofs of our high street shops and businesses creating an exciting trail to be explored… did you see them?

Fear not if you didn’t, after hearing of their monstrous friends exciting visit to Chelmsford a brand NEW group on Monsters are on their way to town this October Half Term… so you best get ready!

In order for them to get the best view of the city those pesky monsters will be taking to rooftop locations once again creating the 2022 Monster Invasion Trail from Saturday 22 – Sunday 30 October. 

This year each monster location will have QR codes unlocking a secret code word to be collected… along with some exclusive MONSTER DEALS for shops and restaurants in the city.

Once you’ve collected all of the Monsters’ secret code words you’ll be able to collect your very own CFY Monster Invasion Sticker from our two designated collection points – The Art Place Chelmsford and Patch. 

Along the trail you can also expect to come across Chelmsford For You’s Monster Bins, Recycled Tentacles Installation, Monster Peep Boards and Monster Portrait Exhibition – featuring fabulous creations from two inspiring community groups, especially created for Chelmsford’s monster invasion!

Make sure you share your pictures as you complete the trail using #CFYMonsters. The Monsters are also bringing a range of FREE family fun with them throughout the week!
