CONCRETE CANVAS, CHELMSFORD’S FIRST EVER STREET ART FESTIVAL, ARRIVES THIS MAY!
Between Saturday 14 – Friday 27 May a number of sites across the city centre will become the canvas for some incredible murals, created by a line-up of internationally-renowned street artists alongside some of Chelmsford’s very own talented local artists.
Many of the artists are currently engaging with a number of different groups across Chelmsford’s community, which will inspire their designs to help celebrate Chelmsford’s narrative and tell our city’s story.
Most importantly the project will bring a new lease of life to previously ‘blank’ space whilst creating a trail of Street Art that will remain for all to enjoy.
Make sure you’re following Chelmsford For You to find out when and where these incredible creations will be installed so you can check them come to life in real time!

International Women’s Day (IWD) is just around the corner. IWD is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
The campaign theme for International Women’s Day this year is #BreakTheBias. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough. Action is needed to level the playing field.
