Bond Street is Chelmsford’s leading open-air shopping and leisure destination situated in the heart of the City Centre. Bond Street is easily accessed on foot as well as by car and public transport (bus, Park & Ride and rail).

 

By Car Park

We have 288 underground car park spaces which is accessed via the Springfield Road (Tesco) roundabout. The car park is open 24 hours and has CCTV security in operation. A variety of payment options are accepted, including contactless.

Please Note:
  • Bicycles are not permitted in the car park, however, bicycle hoops are located outside the cinema and John Lewis
  • Motorbikes are not permitted to park in the car park or on the Bond Street site
  • There are 11 parent & child/disabled bays available in the car park. There are no concessions.
  • Click and collect John Lewis parking bays have 1 disabled parking bay.

Maximum vehicle height is 2.05m, 6’8” which comfortably accommodates most cars and 4×4/ SUV’s .

By Train

Chelmsford Train Station is within easy walking distance of Bond Street with regular services from trains on the London Liverpool Street line. There are also regular train services into Chelmsford City Centre from areas throughout the East of England. For more information, please visit the Abellio Greater Anglia website.

There are regular buses to and from Chelmsford City Centre from all surrounding areas. There are also regular bus services from other Essex town's including, Maldon, Burnham, South Woodham Ferrers, Brentwood and Basildon. Bond Street Chelmsford is approximately 10 minutes walk from Chelmsford Bus Station.
